Best Coffee Shops in Dallas

Once the pandemic started and we had to work from home, I made it a goal to try a bunch of different coffee shops in the Dallas area (once things safely opened, of course)! I’ve never been a huge coffee drinker but give me an iced vanilla latte or any fall drink and I’m one happy girl! Below are some of my favorites that I’ve visited this summer (in no particular order).

La La Land Kind Cafe

Now with two locations in Dallas, La La Land Kind Cafe is sure to brighten your day as soon as you walk in the door! Their mission is one that can’t be beat – they hire and mentor youth that are transitioning out of a foster care program. They have menu items ranging from avocado toast, matcha, coffee and tea!

White Rock Coffee

I visited White Rock Coffee Express and let me tell you, it was one of the quickest drive thrus I’ve ever been in! The blueberry muffin was one of the best I’ve had, the iced latte was good and the service was good too!

Brewed LTD

Hands down, Brewed LTD is where my favorite drink is. If you like a sweeter coffee drink, you need to try their Candy Bar Latte – I got mine iced and holy cow, it was delicious! They also have another location in Fort Worth but it’s definitely one you should add to your list!

Herb’s Coffee House

If you need a quiet place to get some work done or want to hang with friends while having some coffee on a patio then Herb’s is the place for you! Located near SMU, they have meeting rooms you can rent, plenty of tables to work at and a little outdoor area with furniture to relax and hang out.

White Rhino

With multiple locations in DFW, White Rhino’s newest location is in Bishop Arts! They have quite a selection for their drink menu but they also have breakfast, lunch (sandwiches & salads) and snack items to choose from as well.

Merit Coffee

I live close to Merit and had never gone in until this summer! Their coffee was delicious and their bakery items and pastries were so good. I tried a banana walnut muffin and a homemade strawberry poptart – highly recommend both of them! They also took the necessary steps to run their business and keep their customers safe during COVID, which I admired.

I know there are hundreds of coffee shops in the DFW area and these barely scratch the surface but if you’re in need of a pick me up, I highly recommend the places above!
